Hi! We are Rusty and Coco of Rustic Industrial Designs.  As husband and wife artisans, we have embarked on the crazy journey of making new furniture the old fashioned way, by hand!  Our products reflect the same opposites attract relationship as our marriage of over 25 years.  On one side is our use of welded steel which provides efficient and enduring strength.  On the other side is our incorporation of beautifully crafted wood, creating a warm, inviting richness that exudes home.  We blend these two genres to create our signature Rustic Industrial style.  Each piece we create reflects this purpose for which they were designed.

Rusty started woodworking and welding over 30 years ago developing aptitudes which have allowed him to gain the skill and craftsmanship to design, engineer, and hand make our functional works of art.  Coco spent time in Europe and acquired an appreciation for enduring furniture designs as well as finishes that reflected a more natural aesthetic .  Different in composition, yet united in purpose, wood and steel are married to offer the warmth of home combined with strength and endurance of family.  We hope you love our furniture and that it will add value and beauty to your life.

• Strength and style: Rustic Industrial Designs hand crafts and engineers its furniture to last for generations.  Each piece is handmade to reflect a time when craftsmen actually cared about the product they made instead of just turning out a mass produced bottom line.   The result is truly functional artistry constructed to be an heirloom that improves with age. 
• Steel and wood: We strive to create furniture that strikes a balance of ruggedness and warmth.   Each item sits upon a uniquely designed  welded steel frame and is then "married" to hand rubbed solid wood. Reminiscent of old world ideals and craftsmanship, Rustic Industrial Designs' furniture  is  created to be long lasting and easily maintained.  
• Modern and vintage: We aim to harness today's best building techniques while preserving old world artisanry.  The variations found in the wood and steel  provide a natural dynamic which we shape into unique pieces of art.  Clean straight lines of the steel mix with the natural grain in the wood blending these Industrial and  Rustic styles.  We seek to  mirror the strength and ingenuity of our Industrial heritage while honoring the artists and craftsmen of the last two centuries.
